One week old puppy sleeping
He has a round, full tummy and his back legs stretched out behind.
The pups are 2 weeks old today, and walking all over, their eyes are opening and they can hear.  This little  boy walked all across the pen and fell when he got to the bunched up blanket.  He  looks like he has pretty fair angulation and even  length shoulder blades.  These babies are very active.
At two weeks, 2 days old they gobbled down their first milk and raw ground turkey.  (I hear that  just recently our dear gov't has tested a flock of turkeys in Nebr. and they tested positive for bird flu, and our  gov't has still ok'd them for slaughter. So I probably  will not be feeding anymore turkey for awhile., until  i find out if this is true. )

Nellie & pups - Last day of nursing
Pedigrees
Ears are going up. Pups are outside 3-4 hours every day.
at 5 1/2 weeks old they even know enough to go in out of the rain.
Thats pretty smart for a little pup.
Pups get extra socializing when Jonathon and Mathew come to visit.
The pups are    so fun to watch.  They romp and tumble and explore.   Yesterday they understood that the shade moves and so they have to move also.  They are 6 weeks old. They were wormed yesterday and no worms this morning. Yehh !  Tomorrow they will be introduced to the leash.
Pups are 7 weeks old and got their first raw bone ( goat meat)  They have had ground hamburger and turkey and canned mackerel but this is their first bone.  It was devoured  within 3 minutes.  And the last surviving bone  was an object of intense competition.   (note: isn't that a nice hock to the right?? i just couldn't crop it out ! )
HMMMM - - -
This is male pup #1  and he has posed for a picture to put in the national catalog to   wish all the participants luck at the show in PA.
this is the end of the "s" litter page. i  have 2 pups  ( satin & spike)  left and i plan to keep them, for now.  their individual page will be up soon.   i have a cell phone now. i  just know how to answer hello, so if you leave a message - understand my daughter or granddaughter have to stop over to retreive those messages for me.   if i don't get back to you - try again. :-)   507-402-7225.
