HONEYHILLS QUINCY CGC

Seven month old Quincy  at the training center for the first time.   Not perfect, but a good first attempt.

He has a nice front shoulder and a good turn of stifle,   I sure hope he grows into those ears.

Have a couple of goats that take turns in the back yard, with the dogs ( my lawn mower) , and quincy brings in the goats when it is time to put them in the other yard.

Quincy passed his test and completed the requirements for the CGC certificate  after 7 weeks of training classes.

Raising dogs is a "labor of love". It takes a lot of time and effort, but getting one to show, is a job full of perils and disappointments,  You wait for ears to go up and teeth to come in,and testicles to drop, and temperament to prove itself and conformation to develop and then pray no accidents happen.  Quincy has sliced the pad of his foot half off.  Its a pretty serious accident and the vet has said to keep it wrapped. Well, Ouincy does not want it wrapped, so guess how long the bandage stays on.  So now we wait again, will it heal without infection, will it be always tender and will he favor it,  will it affect his stride and gait???
